SEARCHING FOR MEMORIES: LATINA/O/X IN NORTHWEST OHIO

The U.S. Census has projected by 2060 that the Latina/o/x population will reach 119 million, more than double what it is today. This demographic shift will challenge our understanding of Latina/o/xs in the United States, especially the Midwest. In Fall 2019, I developed this project through my BGSU 1910: First-Year Seminar to focus on educating the community about the historical and contemporary histories of Latina/o/xs by exploring the counter-narratives of migration, labor, community, and activism in Northwest Ohio. 

The contents of the website were researched and developed under the supervision of Dr. Luis H. Moreno by his students at Bowling Green State University.
